At Wyld Terra, we take great care in preserving the natural purity of our tallow through a gentle dry-rendering process, using only stainless steel and glass equipment. This approach helps us keep harmful toxins out of our products by avoiding plastics, which can leach contaminants. By using dry rendering, we’re able to retain the full range of nutrients in the tallow without breaking them down through intense heating or added water, as can happen with wet rendering.
Our tallow balms are pure and free from pore-clogging, non-comedogenic oils, preservatives, additives, thickening agents, or polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs). This means you’re getting a product that works harmoniously with your skin, without any unnecessary ingredients that can interfere with its natural beauty.
We’re also proud of our commitment to sourcing. Our tallow is sourced directly from a local USDA-certified organic regenerative farm, where cattle graze freely year-round on non-GMO, no-spray grass fields. These animals are raised without grain, soy, antibiotics, or pesticides of any kind, ensuring that the tallow we use is as pure, nutrient-dense, and wholesome as nature intended.
