While tallow has a natural, earthy scent, our meticulous rendering process reduces the “beefy smell”. We blend our tallow with high-quality herbal-infused oils and therapeutic-grade essential oils to create a subtle, pleasant fragrance. In fact some think that our whipped tallow balms have a sweet spa-like fragrance.

We source our suet from McIntyre Pastures, a USDA-certified, organic, grass-fed farm in Caldwell, Idaho. Their cattle are raised without GMOs, soy, hormones, antibiotics, or mRNA vaccines, and the suet is carefully selected for quality and nutrient density.

Natural ingredients and handmade processes can cause slight variations in color, scent, and texture. Factors such as season, diet, and environmental conditions affect each batch. These variations are normal and demonstrate the authenticity of our products.

Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid exposing them to water and humidity to maintain quality and prevent bacterial growth. Remember these are natural products through and through and they do not include harmful preservatives, proper care for your products is so important.

Our products have a shelf life of up to 12 months when stored properly. For optimal results, we recommend using them within 6 months of opening.

Temperature fluctuations can cause the essential fatty acids in tallow to crystallize, leading to a grainy texture. Warming the balm between your palms or letting it sit at room temperature may restore smoothness.

Perform a patch test before using any new product. Apply a small amount to a discreet area of skin and wait 24-48 hours for any adverse reactions. If irritation occurs, stop using immediately and contact your health provider.

Some of our products contain nut-derived ingredients, such as almond oil. Please review ingredient lists carefully and avoid products if you have a nut allergy. Additionally, all products are crafted in a small-batch studio that is not nut-free, so cross-contact with nut ingredients may occur.

While our tallow is gluten-free, our products are not made in a certified gluten-free facility. Those with gluten allergies should exercise caution.
